Award Winning Online Ad Campaigns

When running the race of entrepreneurship, don’t settle for the top ten. Don’t even settle for silver; settle for gold. And in lieu of the Olympics in London, we are going
to focus on just what it means to have a company that earns a gold medal.

Advertising used to consist of running a TV ad or an ad in the newspaper.
Now there are so many opportunities available with online advertising. But with all these opportunities, still make sure you extend your brand with consistency

Award Winning Print Media

When running the race of entrepreneurship, don’t settle for the top ten. Don’t even settle for silver; settle for gold. And in lieu of the Olympics in London, we are going
to focus on just what it means to have a company that earns a gold medal.

Yesterday, we discussed the importance of control when it comes to having a company
that earns a gold medal. When it comes to print media, consistency is key.

Settling for Gold

When running the race of entrepreneurship, don’t settle for the top ten. Don’t even settle for silver; settle for gold. And as the Olympics in London start this Friday, we are going
to focus on just what it means to have a company that earns a gold medal.

When running a small business, we are usually short on cash. We can’t afford to hire a huge staff, and we end up do a lot of the work ourselves. Fortunately, there are many
do-it-yourself software applications or services available.

Unfortunately, there are many do-it-yourself software applications or services available.

In the Public Eye

At one time, there were six degrees of separation, meaning that, in theory, everyone is connected to everyone else in the world through six or less connections. With social media, some contend that this number is even smaller.

Worm’s Eye View

Often times a leader of an organization focuses on the big picture, the “bird’s eye view”
of the company. While this is very important, it is also important to consider
the “worm’s eye view.”

Photographers coin the phrase “worm’s eye view” referring to photography

your organization is, customers and clients simply can’t see the bird’s eye view and are often seeing things from ground level.

Sharpening the Lens

of watching you.

Experience Design: It just works

the “information age” and the internet has libraries of information, it’s purpose is different and is still being defined.

Don’t be lazy when picking your business structure

This article first appeared on June 25, 2012 in a classroom discussion for Accounting 201. The prompt was: “Up to this point, we have discussed sole proprietorship and partnership business structures.  We are now going to look at the corporation business structure.  Discuss the differences and  advantages/disadvantages of the different business structures when compared to the corporation.  Sharing of news articles is also acceptable if you cite your source.”

First of all, I received this article in my Entrepreneur newsletter just this morning: Bringing on a Business Partner? Avoid This Common Mistake. It discusses the legal ramifications of bringing on a partner to your business.

As far as advantages and disadvantages go, the two easy ones are “liability” and “ease of formation.” However, let me touch on “ease of formation” a bit.
